For software companies Official WordPress plugins

Your WordPress plugin,
built and looked after.

The yellow "untested" banner, a rating under four, forum questions nobody answers. Your WordPress customers see all of it before they ever see your product, and some of them pick the plugin next to yours.

DNG Studio builds official plugins for software companies, fixes the ones that fell behind and keeps them working.

(01) What changes

The same listing, a month later.

A plugin page is a storefront your team never visits. Buyers read the banner, the stars and the forum before they read your pricing page. We make all three say "someone is home".

01
This plugin hasn't been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress.

Tested with the current WordPress, and kept that way.

02
Issues resolved in last two months: 1 out of 14.

Forum questions answered within two business days.

03
Last updated: 2 years ago.

A release whenever WordPress, WooCommerce or PHP ships one.

04
"Broke my checkout after the update." One star.

Reviews about your product, not about the plugin.

(02) What we do

Four ways in.

Each one is a fixed price, quoted before we start. Whichever you start with, the last one keeps it from slipping again.

01 Build No plugin yet, and your customers keep asking for one. We build the official plugin from scratch, wired to your API, ready for the wordpress.org review and easy for a non-developer to set up. 02 Rescue The plugin you have, brought current. Compatibility fixed, the warning banner gone, a security pass, the forum backlog answered and a clean release on wordpress.org. 03 Rebuild When the old code is past saving. A modern plugin wired to your API, with a settings screen your users can follow and WooCommerce or Gravity Forms hooks where they fit. 04 Keep it working A monthly plan so it never drifts again. Testing on every WordPress release, forum replies within two business days and a changelog your team can read.
(03) How it works

From a link to a release.

  1. 01

    Send us the link

Reply to our email or use the form. The wordpress.org link is enough to start, or a few lines on what a new plugin should do.

  2. 02

    Get a 15-minute video

Within two days: what we would build or fix first and a fixed price for it. Free, no call.

  3. 03

    We ship it

Fixed, tested on a real WordPress install and released under your own wordpress.org account.

(04) Questions

Before you send the link.

Do you need access to our code for the free check?

No. We read the public plugin, its support forum and its reviews. For the work itself we need the repository and a test account on your API.

Who owns the plugin when you are done?

You do. The code ships under your company, your license and your wordpress.org account. We are listed as contributors only if you want us to be.

Can you work alongside our own developers?

Yes. Most teams want the plugin off their sprint, not out of their sight. We work in your repository, open pull requests and keep your engineers in the loop.

Do you handle WooCommerce extensions?

Yes, including the newer order storage (HPOS) and the block-based checkout, which is where most older payment and shipping plugins break first.

How is the price set?

Fixed, in writing, before any work starts. You see it in the video, for the exact scope we propose. No hourly billing.
